Code Enable Criteria

Following conditions must be met for DTC diagnostic test to run:

• No DTCs related to Throttle Position (TP) sensor, Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) or Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor are stored.
• Engine speed is between 600 and 6250 RPM.
• System voltage is between 11.0 and 16.0 volts.
• ECT sensor indicates an engine temperature between 28°F (-7°C) and 230°F (110°C).
• Throttle angle is steady and throttle change is less than 2 percent per 125 milliseconds.
