Rear Disc Brake Pads: Removal
- Draw out two-thirds of the brake fluid from the reservoir. Raise and support vehicle. Remove rear wheels.
- Remove lock bolt. See Figure. Rotate caliper upward and remove caliper from support bracket. Mark pad locations if reusing. Remove pad assembly with shim. Remove clip. Replace brake pads if lining thickness is less than 0.039" (1.0 mm).
