Parking Brake Rear Cable (2WD Model): Installation

  1. Install rear cable. See Figure. Install retainer and nut (7). Tighten nut to the specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To adjust the parking brake, see REAR DRUM PARKING BRAKE  under ADJUSTMENTS.
  2. Install nut (6) and tighten to the specification. Install bolts and tighten to the specified torque. Install rear drums and wheels.
