Front Hub Unit Bearing (2WD Models): Installation
- Install wheel pin. Place hub on a wood workbench or a block of wood approximately 6" by 6" to protect the wheel stud ends and threads. Using a hammer, install wheel stud. Be sure wheel stud is started squarely and seats completely.
- Install the hub unit bearing to the knuckle. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . If there is rust on the bearing and knuckle contact surfaces, use sandpaper to remove it before installation.
- Install the ABS sensor connector. Install the disc rotor. See FRONT DISC BRAKE ROTOR .
