Wheel Cylinders: Disassembly

  1. Disassemble wheel cylinder. See Fig 1.
  2. Reassemble wheel cylinder. Note the following:
    • Lubricate cylinder bore with clean rubber grease.
    • Tighten bleeder to specified torque. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
    • Use NEW piston cups and boots.
    • Apply DELCO silicone lube No. 5459912 or equivalent to piston and inner face of the boots.
