Removal & Installation

Disconnect battery ground cable. Disconnect Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) electrical connector. Remove VSS body by rotating it, then remove bolt retaining VSS to transmission. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten VSS bolt to 20 ft. lbs. (27 N.m).
