A/T Gear Position Indicator Input Test
Remove instrument cluster/gauge assembly. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/GAUGE ASSEMBLY under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect harness connectors. See Fig 1 . Check for bent, loose, or corroded terminals, and repair as necessary. If terminals are okay, perform gear position indicator input test. If input tests are as specified, replace printed circuit board.
