Accessory Meter Compass
If compass is in need of adjustment the compass pointer will blink. To adjust compass, take vehicle to relatively level, open area with no buildings or vehicles nearby and perform the following procedure.
Depress ADJUST button for less than 5 seconds. The direction display and vehicle direction display will blink. Drive vehicle slowly in directions indicated. See Fig 1 . When adjustment is completed, direction display on accessory meter will stop blinking and compass will show correct direction.
There are 2 ways to exit the compass adjustment. The first is to depress the ADJUST button once again. The second is if the compass adjustment is not performed within 2 minutes of initiating adjustment operation, procedure will cancel automatically.
