Removal (Amigo, Rodeo & Trooper)

Before proceeding, follow air bag service precautions. See SERVICE PRECAUTIONS. Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Using appropriate Torx bit, remove air bag fixing bolt from behind steering wheel. Carefully lift air bag out of steering wheel. Disconnect Yellow 2-way connector and remove air bag.
