Diagnostic Aids

An intermittent condition is likely to be caused by a short to ground in passenger-side air bag assembly. Inspect circuits IB07 and IB08 carefully for cutting or chafing. If wiring pigtail of passenger-side air bag is damaged, component must be replaced.
