An intermittent condition is likely to be caused by a short between circuits IB07 and IB08 or a malfunctioning shorting clip on passenger-side air bag assembly, requiring replacement of air bag assembly. The test for this DTC is only run while air bag warning light is performing bulb check unless DTC 17 or 26 is detected. When scan tool CLEAR CODES command is issued and malfunction is still present, DTC will not reappear until next ignition cycle.
