Differential Carrier: Installation

Clean contact surfaces and apply a 3 mm bead of 3-Bond (TB1215) to mounting face of carrier assembly. Install mounting nuts and bolts and tighten to 33 ft. lbs. (66 N.m). Align marks on drive shaft and pinion flange. Bleed brake system (if necessary). See HYDRAULIC SYSTEM BLEEDING in appropriate DISC & DRUM article in BRAKES section. Installation, reverse removal procedures. Fill differential with lubricant and tighten filler plug to 58 ft. lbs. (78 N.m).
