Front Washer Motor Inoperative: Hombre
- Disconnect washer pump connector. Connect a test light between washer pump terminals "A" (Red wire) and "B" (Black wire). See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Turn ignition switch to ON position. Activate washer pump with wiper/washer switch. If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, go to step 3).
- Check for poor connections to washer pump. If connections are okay, replace washer pump. See FRONT WASHER MOTOR under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Connect test light between ground and washer pump connector terminal "A" (Red wire). See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Activate washer pump with wiper/washer switch. If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, go to step 5).
- Repair open Black wire between washer motor and ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- With test light connected to ground, backprobe terminal E9 (Red wire) of wiper/washer switch connector. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Activate washer pump with wiper/washer switch. If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, go to step 7).
- Repair open Red wire between washer motor and wiper/washer switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Check for poor connection at wiper/washer switch connector terminal E9 (Red wire). See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If connections are okay, replace wiper/washer switch. See MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
