Removal & Installation (Amigo & Rodeo)

Disconnect negative battery terminal. Open ashtray and remove screw from opening. Pull outward on lower center cover to release clips. Disconnect cigarette lighter connector. Remove front and rear center console. Remove screws attaching hood release handle to lower cover. Remove remaining screws for lower cover.
Remove screws attaching instrument cluster trim panel. Disconnect electrical connectors and remove instrument cluster trim panel. Remove driver's knee bolster. See Figure. Disconnect electrical connectors on backside of instrument cluster trim panel. Push rear wiper/washer switch out from behind. To install, reverse removal procedure.
