Removal & Installation (Hombre)

  1. Place steering wheel in straight-ahead position. Place ignition switch in LOCK position. Remove air bag module. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. Mark steering wheel and column shaft for installation reference.
  2. Loosen steering wheel shaft nut. Using puller, remove steering wheel from steering column. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten shaft nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
