Amigo & Rodeo

  1. Ensure continuity of power mirror switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If switch is okay, go to next step. If switch is faulty, replace power mirror switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  2. Check integrity of passenger's power mirror circuits. If passenger's power mirror is okay, go to next step. If passenger's power mirror is faulty, replace passenger's power mirror. See POWER MIRROR ASSEMBLY  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  3. Repair poor connection or open in Black/White wire between mirror control switch connector terminal No. 5 and driver's power mirror connector terminal No. 8; or White/Red wire between mirror control switch connector terminal No. 8 and driver's power mirror connector terminal No. 7. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
