Rear Drum Brake Shoes: Inspection

Inspect brake shoes for distortion, looseness, nicks or oil-soaked linings. Check for leaking wheel cylinders. Minimum rear brake lining thickness is .039" (1.0 mm). Check for weak or broken shoe return springs. Repair or replace as required.
