Upper Control Arm & Ball Joint: Installation

1. To install, reverse removal procedure. On 2WD models, install pivot shaft with smaller clearance "A" toward center of vehicle. Install pivot shaft with projection toward center of vehicle. See Fig 1 .
2. Ensure shim(s) are installed in original location. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Check wheel alignment. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES article in WHEEL ALIGNMENT section.
