Cylinder Head: Installation
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Clean all gasket surfaces. Tighten cylinder head bolts in sequence. See Fig 1. Tighten bolts and nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Before installing cylinder head cover, apply silicone sealant to corners of end camshaft towers and install NEW gasket. See Figure. Adjust accelerator cable. See Figure. Loosen adjusting nut and screw cap. Pull outer cable with throttle valve closed. Tighten adjusting nut and screw cap temporarily. Loosen adjusting nut 3 turns and tighten screw cap. Ensure valve lever returns to stopper screw.
