Removal & Installation (DOHC)

Release fuel pressure. See FUEL PRESSURE RELEASE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove plug wires at spark plugs. Remove upper intake manifold. See UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD . Disconnect fuel supply and return hoses from fuel rail. Remove bolts and cylinder head cover(s). To install, apply RTV sealant to corners of end camshaft bearing towers. See Figure. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
