Manual Locking Hub: Removal

Place transfer case lever in 2H position. Position locking hub knob to FREE position. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel and brake caliper. Wire caliper aside. Remove 6 bolts and hub cover. See Fig 1 .

Remove snap ring and shims. Remove hub body. Remove inner assembly. To remove clutch from hub cover, holding cover and push on spring and turn clutch clockwise. Use illustration to complete disassembly. See Fig 1 .
