Removal & Installation

Remove rear propeller shaft. Remove transfer flange using socket wrench and Transfer Flange Holder (J37221). Pry out oil seal using a flat-blade screwdriver. Install NEW oil seal using Oil Seal Installer (J37226). Apply engine oil to oil seal lip and install transfer flange and nut using Transfer Flange Holder (J27221) and socket wrench. Torque nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install front propeller shaft.
