Propeller Shaft
Torque is transmitted from the transmission to the rear axle or front axle through one drive shaft and universal joint assemblies. All drive shafts are of the balanced tubular type and have a slip yoke to compensate for axle movement. See Fig 1. Alignment marks should be applied to each drive shaft before removal.
