Description & Operation

All removable carrier rear axle assemblies are semi-floating type. All rear axles are of conventional ring and pinion design and use hypoid gears. Pinion bearing preload is set with shims and adjustable spacer. All axles can be fitted with exciter ring for models with Rear Wheel Anti-Lock (RWAL) braking system.
