Front Axle Shaft: Removal

Raise and support vehicle. Remove hub, brake rotor and steering knuckle. Remove clamp, inner boot and "C" clip. See Fig 1 . Remove axle shaft. Remove mounting bracket bolts. Remove inner joint case from bracket. For CV joint service, use exploded view of front drive axle. See Fig 1 .
