Rear Disc Brake Caliper: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure.
  2. Depress caliper piston using pliers. Apply high temperature brake grease to caliper sliding surfaces. Ensure hooked edge of flex hose is in the hole to prevent rotation. Bleed hydraulic system. Adjust parking brake. See PARKING BRAKE (REAR DISC BRAKES) under ADJUSTMENTS.
