Front Disc Brake Caliper: Installation

  1. Apply high temperature brake grease to caliper sliding surfaces. Install sleeve dust boot on caliper, and insert sleeve into dust boot. Install guide pin dust boot on caliper. Install caliper and dust boot on guide pin.
  2. Install lock bolt and tighten to secure caliper to support. Install flex hose to caliper with hooked edge of flex hose in hole to prevent rotation. Hose must not contact moving or vibrating parts. Install NEW gaskets on flex hose bolt and install bolt. Install wheels. Bleed hydraulic system.
