Valve Lifters

Visually inspect tappets, Hydraulic Valve Lifters (HVL) and adjuster shims. Replace parts if damaged or abnormal wear is present. If outside diameter is not within specification, replace HVL. See VALVE LIFTERS  table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS.
