Power Brake Unit Check Valve

  1. Disconnect vacuum hose on power brake unit side of check valve. Place finger over check valve. Start engine. If vacuum exists, go to next step. If vacuum does not exist, replace check valve.
  2. Remove check valve, and apply vacuum to power brake unit side of check valve. Valve should hold vacuum in this direction. If vacuum is not held, replace check valve.
