Rear Disc Brake Pads: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Install new pad clips and shims. Apply high temperature brake grease to caliper sliding surfaces.
  2. Used pads must be installed to original position. Install pads to caliper support, with wear indicators facing LOWER SIDE of support bracket. Check parking brake adjustment. See PARKING BRAKE (REAR DISC BRAKES) under ADJUSTMENTS.
