Front Disc Brake Pads: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Open bleed screw and depress piston into caliper bore (if necessary). Install NEW disc pad clips and shims. Apply high temperature brake grease to caliper sliding surfaces.
  2. Used pads must be installed to original position. Install pads to caliper support, with wear indicators facing LOWER SIDE of support bracket.
