Front Disc Brake Caliper: Installation

  1. Apply high temperature brake grease to caliper sliding surfaces. Install sleeve dust boot on caliper, and insert sleeve into dust boot.
  2. Install guide pin dust boot on caliper. Install caliper and dust boot on guide pin. Install lock bolt and tighten to secure caliper to support. Flex hose identification stripe must follow a straight line without binding. Hose must not contact moving or vibrating parts. Install wheels. Bleed hydraulic system.
