Rear Disc Brake Caliper: Disassembly

  1. Remove bleed screw and cap. See Figure . Remove parking brake bracket. Remove dust seal ring. Remove dust seal. Using Piston Adapter (J-37617), rotate piston counterclockwise and remove piston from caliper. Remove piston seal ring.
  2. Remove snap ring. Remove adjusting bolt spring retainer and spring. Remove adjusting bolt spring plate. Remove adjusting bolt stopper and adjusting bolt. Remove "O" ring from adjusting bolt.
