Oil Pan: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Apply approximately 1/8" bead of Sealant (TB-1207C) on oil pan gasket surfaces. Oil pan must be installed within one half hour after sealant application. Ensure bead of sealant is on the inside of bolt hole on oil pan flange.
  2. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Fill engine with oil.
