Inspection (All Engines)

  1. Inspect cylinder head for warpage at cylinder block and manifold areas. Resurface or replace cylinder head if warpage exceeds specification. See CYLINDER HEAD  table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS.
  2. On DOHC models, ensure cylinder head height is within specification. See CYLINDER HEAD table. On all models, inspect cylinder block head surface warpage. Replace cylinder block if warpage exceeds specification. See CYLINDER BLOCK  table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS.
