Valve Lifters (1.6L DOHC)

Visually inspect tappet and adjuster shim. Replace parts if damaged or abnormal wear is present. Measure outside diameter of tappets. If outside diameter is not within specification, replace tappet. See VALVE LIFTERS  table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS.
