Front Cover Oil Seal (2.8L): Removal

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove accessory belt. Remove crankshaft pulley from vibration damper. Remove vibration damper bolt.
  2. Using Puller (J-23523-E or J-24420-B), remove vibration damper. Carefully pry seal from front cover. DO NOT damage sealing surface.
