Canister Purge Thermal Vacuum Valve (TVV)

TVV is located on lower portion of intake manifold, near right side of firewall. Heat sensing portion of TVV to 165°F (74°C) in hot water. Blow air into top hose connector to verify TVV is open. Reduce TVV temperature to 95°F (35°C) in cool water. Blow air into top hose connector to verify TVV is closed. If problem is found, replace TVV.
