Valve Clearance Adjustment
- Rotate crankshaft until No. 4 piston is at TDC on compression stroke. Adjust intake valve for No. 3 and No. 4 cylinders. Adjust exhaust valve for No. 2 and No. 4 cylinders. See VALVE CLEARANCE ADJUSTMENT table.
- Rotate crankshaft 360 degrees until No. 1 cylinder is at TDC on compression stroke. Adjust intake valve for No. 1 and No. 2 cylinders. Adjust exhaust valve for No. 1 and No. 3 cylinders. Reinstall rocker cover.
