Switch Test (Except Turbo & DOHC)

Disconnect lead wire to oil pressure switch, above starter. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between switch terminal and body ground. Continuity should exist with engine off. No continuity should exist when oil pressure is present. Switch actuating oil pressure is 2.8-4.3 psi (0.2-0.3 kg/cm² ).
