Fuel Gauge Sending Unit
Connect ohmmeter to fuel tank sending unit. As float is moved, resistance reading should change smoothly. Resistance at full position should be approximately 17 ohms. Resistance at 1/2 position should be approximately 45 ohms. Resistance at empty position should be approximately 120 ohms. If not correct, replace sending unit. SeeFig 1 .
