Rear Axle Assembly: Removal
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove both rear wheels. Remove brake line, retaining clip and flex hose at center of rear axle. Remove tension spring from rear axle. Disconnect parking brake cable, and parking brake cable joint.
- Support the lower side of rear axle with a jack. Remove shock absorber from axle. Remove coil spring. Remove the fixing bolts attaching the rear axle to the body and remove rear axle.
