Cleaning & Inspection

  1. Note position of piston cups before removing. Do not reuse piston cups. Wash parts in denatured alcohol or in clean brake fluid. Blow dry parts.
  2. Inspect master cylinder for scoring or corrosion. Do not attempt to polish aluminum cylinder bore. Replace if corroded.
