Fuel Gauge Sending Unit: Impulse
- With sending unit removed from tank, connect the positive side of the battery to fuel level sending unit and negative side to terminal 2 of connector. Measure the voltage across terminal 4 of connector and ground lead of sender unit. SeeFig 1 .
- With float in the empty position, voltage measured should be .5 volts. With float in the full position, voltage should be approximately 4 volts.
