DTC Description
DTC DETECTION LOGIC
| DTC | CONSULT screen terms(Trouble diagnosis content) | DTC detection condition | |
|---|---|---|---|
| P159C | G SENSOR(Decel G Sensor Out of Range Low) | Diagnosis condition | When all of the following conditions are satisfied, diagnosis is permitted. a) Power supply voltage ≥ 11 V b) Vehicle speed > 0 km/h (0 MPH) |
| Signal | Decel G sensor signal | ||
| Threshold | When the following condition a) is satisfied twice in the same DC, DTC is detected b) | Variation of acceleration/deceleration | ≤ -1.9 G (after passing filter) | ||
| Diagnosis delay time | 5 seconds x 2 count | ||
NOTE:
DC stands for "DRIVING CYCLE" and indicates a series of driving cycle of "Ignition switch OFF → ON → driving → OFF".
POSSIBLE CAUSE
- Decel G sensor
- ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit)
- Harness or connector (CAN communication line is error)
FAIL-SAFE
Idle stop is not performed
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
- PREPARATION BEFORE WORK
If another "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" occurs just before, ignition switch OFF and wait for at least 10 seconds, then perform the next test. TESTING CONDITION: Before performing the following procedure, confirm that battery voltage is more than 10 V.
>>
GO TO 2.
- PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
With CONSULT
- Start the engine.
- Select "Data Monitor" in "TRANSMISSION".
- Select "G SPEED".
- Drive the vehicle and maintain the following conditions for 10 seconds or more.
Selector lever : "D" position Vehicle speed : More than 1 km/h (1 MPH) G SPEED : More than -1.9 G CAUTION:Be careful of the driving speed.
- Stop the vehicle.CAUTION:
Never stop the engine.
- Repeat steps 4 through 5.
- Check the DTC.
