				Signal (terminal)	Motor A (U phase / V phase / W phase) signal
				Threshold	The voltage of any one of the phase is low even though all phases of the motor coil is not energized. NOTE: Energized: Approx. 0 V, Non-energized: 9 - 16 V
				Diagnosis delay time	-
			2	Diagnosis condition	After turning the ignition switch OFF. (During diagnosis rotation) NOTE: Diagnosis rotation: Turn the shift actuator relay A and B circuit OFF one by one, and partially rotate the motor for diagnosis purpose.
				Signal (terminal)	Motor A (U phase / V phase / W phase) signal
				Threshold	The voltage of de-energized phase is low during diagnosis rotation. NOTE: Energized: Approx. 0 V, Non-energized: 9 - 16 V
				Diagnosis delay time	-

POSSIBLE CAUSE 

• Harness or connectors
  • Shift actuator relay A circuit is open.
  • Shift actuator motor A (U phase / V phase / W phase) circuit is open.
• Shift actuator relay A (OFF stuck or internal disconnection)
• Motor coil A (shift actuator)
• Electric shift control module

FAIL-SAFE 

Shifting operation is prohibited

NOTE: When either motor A circuit or motor B circuit is judged as malfunction, only disconnecting the malfunctioning motor circuit enables to shift the gears.
