POSSIBLE CAUSE
- Harness or connectors
- Shift actuator relay A circuit is open.
- Shift actuator motor A (U phase / V phase / W phase) circuit is open.
- Shift actuator relay A (OFF stuck or internal disconnection)
- Motor coil A (shift actuator)
- Electric shift control module
FAIL-SAFE
Shifting operation is prohibited
NOTE:
When either motor A circuit or motor B circuit is judged as malfunction, only disconnecting the malfunctioning motor circuit enables to shift the gears.
