DTC	CONSULT screen terms(Trouble diagnosis content)	DTC detection condition
P0742	TORQUE CONVERTER(Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Stuck On)	Diagnosis condition	When all of the following conditions are satisfied: TCM power supply voltage: More than 11 V Range: D (Except for Manual mode) Accelerator pedal position : 10 deg. or more Engine speed: 450 rpm or more LU pressure: Less than -0.1 MPa and this state is maintained for 5 seconds Secondary pulley seed: more than 0 rpm and less than 2470 rpm
		Signal	-
		Threshold	Differences between engine speed and input speed: 40 rpm or less.
		Diagnosis delay time	Maintained for 5 seconds or more

POSSIBLE CAUSE

Harness or connector (Torque converter clutch solenoid valve circuit is shorted to power supply)
Torque converter clutch solenoid valve
Torque converter
Control valve

FAIL-SAFE

Start is slow
Engine stops when shift to "D" position during stopping the vehicle.
