DTC DETECTION LOGIC
NOTE:
The Signal Tech II Tool [- (NI-50190)] can be used to perform the following functions: Refer to the Signal Tech II User Guide for additional information.
- Activate and display TPMS sensor IDs
- Display tire pressure reported by the TPMS sensor
- Read TPMS DTCs
- Register TPMS sensor IDs

POSSIBLE CAUSE
- Low tire pressure (natural air leak)
- Air leak because of wheel change
- Tire pressure sensor
FAIL-SAFE

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
- PERFORM SELF DIAGNOSTIC RESULT
CONSULT
- Ignition switch ON.CAUTION:
Never start the engine.
- Check tire pressure for all wheels and adjust to the specified value. Refer to Tire Air Pressure .
- Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "BCM(AIR PRESSURE MONITOR)".
- Drive for 3 minutes at a speed of 16 mph (25 km/h) or more, then drive normally for 10 minutes.
- Check DTC.
- Ignition switch ON.
Is DTC "C1704-00", "C1705-00", "C1706-00", or "C1707-00" detected?
YES>>
Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure .
NO>>
To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident .
NO>>
Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.
