DTC Diagnosis Procedure

1. CONSULT
   1. Start the engine.
      CAUTION:

      Never drive the vehicle.

   2. Select "C/M TEMPERATURE" in "Data Monitor" mode of "DAST 2".
   3. Wait with the ignition switch OFF until the data monitor indication becomes 176°F (80°C) or less.

Does the temperature drop to 185°F (85°C) or less?

YES>>

GO TO 2.

NO>>

Replace steering angle sub control module. Refer to Removal and Installation .

1. CONSULT
   1. Ignition switch ON.
   2. Erase "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "DAST 2".
   3. Ignition switch OFF and wait for at least 10 seconds.
   4. Start the engine.
      CAUTION:

      Never drive the vehicle.

   5. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "DAST 2".

Is DTC "C13E6-00" detected?

YES>>

Replace steering angle sub control module. Refer to Removal and Installation .

NO>>

The rise of steering angle sub control module internal temperature caused the protection function to operate. This is not a system malfunction. Inspection End.
