DTC Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK FLEXRAY COMMUNICATION CIRCUIT
-
- Ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect each control module connector.
- Check the continuity between each control module harness connector.

Steering force control module - Continuity Connector Terminal M141 19 Ground No 20 Steering angle main control module - Continuity Connector Terminal E149 19 Ground No 20 Steering angle sub control module - Continuity Connector Terminal E144 19 Ground No 20
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>
GO TO 2.
NO>>
Repair or replace malfunctioning component.

- CHECK STEERING FORCE CONTROL MODULE POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT (1)
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>
GO TO 4.
NO>>
GO TO 3.
- CHECK STEERING FORCE CONTROL MODULE POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT (2)

- Check the 60A fusible link (#Q).
- Check the harness for open or short between steering force control module harness connector E142 terminal 33 and the 60A fusible link (#Q).
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>
Perform the trouble diagnosis for battery power supply circuit. Refer to appropriate Wiring Diagram.
NO>>
Repair or replace malfunctioning component.

- CHECK STEERING ANGLE MAIN CONTROL MODULE POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT (1)
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>
GO TO 6.
NO>>
GO TO 5.
- CHECK STEERING ANGLE MAIN CONTROL MODULE POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT (2)

- Check the 100A fusible link (#G).
- Check the harness for open or short between steering angle main control module harness connector E150 terminal 33 and the 100A fusible link (#G).
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>
Perform the trouble diagnosis for battery power supply circuit. Refer to appropriate Wiring Diagram.
NO>>
Repair or replace malfunctioning component.

- CHECK STEERING ANGLE SUB CONTROL MODULE POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT (1)
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>
GO TO 8.
NO>>
GO TO 7.
- CHECK STEERING ANGLE SUB CONTROL MODULE POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT (2)

- Check the 100A fusible link (#Z).
- Check the harness for open or short between steering angle sub control module harness connector E145 terminal 33 and the 100A fusible link (#Z).
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>
Perform the trouble diagnosis for battery power supply circuit. Refer to appropriate Wiring Diagram.
NO>>
Repair or replace malfunctioning component.

- CHECK IGNITION POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
- Check ignition power supply circuit. Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>
GO TO 9.
NO>>
Repair or replace malfunctioning component.
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT

- Ignition switch OFF.
- Check enlarged contact spring of terminal. Refer to How to Check Terminal .
- Perform intermittent incident while turning steering wheel. Refer to Intermittent Incident .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>
Replace steering angle main control module, steering angle sub control module and steering force control module. Refer to Removal and Installation (steering angle main control module), Removal and Installation (steering angle sub control module) and Removal and Installation (steering force control module).
NO>>
Repair or replace malfunctioning component.
